A Brookfield man has been charged with a felony for allegedly selling some methamphetamine to a confidential informant late last year.
According to a probable-cause statement, 28-year-old Thomas R. Woody allegedly sold seven-tenths of a gram of methamphetamine to the informant at a residence in the 400 block of McGowan Street in Brookfield on November 15, 2017.
Online court documents say a warrant has been issued, and Woody has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash, surety or 10-percent cash.
An initial hearing for Woody at Linn County Circuit Court in Linneus is pending.
