A new athletic complex is scheduled to be constructed on an area college’s campus.
Missouri Valley College President Dr. Bonnie Humphrey has announced the launching of the “Valley Will Roll Campaign” and an initial lead gift from the Walker C & Marjorie Fletcher Family Foundation.
According to the college in Marshall, the campaign has been established to raise funds for the Walker C. Fletcher Athletic Complex, a standalone 28,000-plus square-foot facility, which will be located just south of the Burns Athletic Complex. The new complex is scheduled to house a wrestling training room, athletic training room, state-of-the-art strength-training room, coaches offices, a conference room and six locker rooms.
Construction of the facility is planned to begin late this fall.
