A special election is being held in an area county early next month.
According to a news release, absentee voting is ongoing for the special election in Carroll County on Tuesday, February 6, at the county clerk’s office until 5 p.m. on Monday, February 5.
The last day an absentee ballot can be requested to be mailed is Wednesday, January 31.
The public test of the election counting system is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, in the second floor counting room.
Extended hours for absentee voting will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 3.
The open meeting for the Board of Verification to verify the results will be Wednesday, February 7.
