A Salisbury teen suffered injuries in a two-vehicle head-on traffic crash in Chariton County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred on a hill crest as a southbound vehicle, driven by 17-year-old Garrett Green, of Salisbury, reportedly crossed the center line of the roadway and struck head-on a northbound vehicle, driven by 44-year-old Vida-Jane DeWolfe, of Glasgow.
Green reportedly was transported by Chariton County ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of moderate injuries. Injury information for DeWolfe was made available.
The crash, in which each vehicle reportedly was totaled, happened just after 1 p.m. on Missouri Highway 5, one mile south of U.S. Highway 24, west of Salisbury.
