Each of two Sedalia residents were injured, where one sustained serious injuries, in a rollover traffic accident in Pettis County on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as the driver of a northbound vehicle, 24-year-old Jonathan Campbell, reportedly failed to negotiate a curve which caused the vehicle to travel off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
A passenger in the vehicle, 18-year-old Ryan McClusky, reportedly was transported by Staff of Life helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries. Campbell reportedly refused treatment of minor injuries at the scene. Each of the occupants reportedly was not wearing a seat belt.
The accident happened at noon on Route O, about one mile south of Route HH.
