The Concordia Board of Aldermen discussed monetary contributions for the high school’s FFA Chapter to attend a leadership conference in Washington D.C. during its meeting on Tuesday, February 20.
City Administrator Dale Klussman details the situation which was presented to the board.
Klussman said the board thought the funding situation should be decided by the Concordia Tourism Committee.
According to the FFA website, the leadership conference provides hands-on experiences that help attendees learn how to apply leadership skills to real-life situations in one-week sessions during the summer months.
