A Kansas infant suffered injuries in a traffic crash in Cooper County on Sunday.
A report from the highway patrol says the crash occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by 19-year-old Keiaja Smith, of Leavenworth, reportedly traveled off each side of the roadway and struck a guardrail.
A less-than-a-year-old passenger, of Leavenworth, reportedly was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of minor injuries. The driver reportedly was not injured.
The crash happened at about 1:40 a.m. at the 96.8 mile marker on I-70.
