A Concordia resident who was charged with a couple of felonies for allegedly assaulting law-enforcement officers and damaging police property in October 2017 pleaded guilty to some of the charges on Monday, February 26, at Saline County Circuit Court.
According to online court documents, Jackie Louis Holtcamp II was charged with a Class D Felony for Assault of a Special Victim in the Third Degree and a Class E Felony for Property Damage in the First Degree and four misdemeanors.
The judge agreed with the state’s recommendation to sentence Holtcamp to four years on the assault charge and two years on the property-damage charge in the department of corrections. However, those sentences were suspended, and Holtcamp has been placed on five years of supervised probation. He also was sentenced to 120 days in jail, with credit for time served in relation to one of the misdemeanors and fined $500 for another.
