A Marshall man has been charged with felonies for allegedly possessing multiple baggies of methamphetamine and a firearm after a traffic stop on March 1.
According to a probable-cause statement, with the help of a K-9, Marshall Police officers reportedly found five baggies of methamphetamine, weighing a total of 21.4 grams, and a semiautomatic weapon; as well as several bundles of money, totaling $1,170.
Online court documents say a warrant has been served, and Ezekiel McClinton has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid; a Class D Felony for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm; and two misdemeanors. Bond has been set at $20,000 cash only, with several conditions.
McClinton’s arraignment hearing is scheduled to be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 5, at Saline County Circuit Court.
