A Kansas City man was injured in a traffic accident involving a tractor trailer in Saline County on Monday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as a southbound Kenworth, driven by 21-year-old Virgil Pettorss, reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway due to a vehicle malfunction.
Pettorss reportedly was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for treatment of minor injuries.
The accident happened just before 6:30 a.m. on U.S. 65, near 240th Road.
