Area law enforcement is investigating a case of an alleged stolen vehicle taken from an apartment complex recently in Saline County.
According to a report from the Marshall Police Department, at about 8 p.m. on March 31, officers responded to the apartments in the 1700 block of South Miami Street to investigate a report of an alleged stolen truck.
The victim stated he parked the truck around 2 p.m. earlier in the day and noticed it was missing just before 8 p.m. The victim also stated he called multiple family members and friends to check if they borrowed the red 2013 GMC Sierra, which nobody reportedly did.
The Marshall Police Department reportedly entered the vehicle as stolen into the MULES/NCIC computer system.
