Several persons were injured, including a Sedalia resident, in a four vehicle traffic crash in Pettis County on Tuesday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 76-year-old Glen Adams, of Pleasant Hill, reportedly overtook and struck the rear end of another eastbound vehicle, driven by 50-year-old Cathy Holloway, of Sedalia. Holloway’s vehicle reportedly struck the rear of another vehicle, driven by 34-year-old Stephanie Morey, of Jefferson City, which caused her vehicle to strike the towed unit of a tractor trailer, driven by Michael Noblett, of Vienna.
Holloway and Morey reportedly were transported by Pettis County E.M.S to Bothwell Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. A passenger in Adam’s vehicle, 76-year-old Linda Adams, reportedly sought her own treatment of minor injures, and Noblett reportedly was not injured.
The crash happened just before 8 a.m. on U.S. Highway 50, near Westwood Drive.
