A Pennsylvania resident is facing a felony charge for allegedly being in possession of nearly 50 pounds of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on I-70 on April 27 in Cooper County.
According to a probable-cause statement, with the help of a K-9 officer, authorities located a cache of marijuana that weighed approximately 47 pounds inside the vehicle.
According to online court documents, 55-year-old Anthony Wintermyers, of York, has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid. Bond has not been set yet.
Wintermyers’ initial appearance at Cooper County Circuit Court is pending.
