A Sedalia homeless man has been charged with multiple felonies after he allegedly assaulted two persons and tried to elude apprehension by authorities on May 7.
According to a probable-cause statement, two persons said 25-year-old Seth Andrew Farr struck them with a piece of wood. Farr then ran from authorities, and did not comply with several commands to stop. Authorities were able to chase him down and put handcuffs on him. Authorities say each of the alleged victims had suffered noticeable injuries.
According to online court documents, Farr has been charged with two counts of a Class D Felony for Assault in the Second Degree; a Class E Felony for Resisting Arrest for a Felony; and two counts of an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Bond has been set at $50,000 cash or surety.
An arraignment hearing for Farr has been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
