A Higbee resident suffered serious injuries in a traffic crash in Randolph County on Monday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 63-year-old Kelly Thomas reportedly lost control of his southbound vehicle, which traveled off the roadway and struck several trees and a fence.
Thomas, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened just before 11 p.m. on County Road 2570, three miles southeast of Higbee.
