A Wellington resident was injured in a rollover traffic accident in Lafayette County on Monday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by 25-year-old Angel Young, reportedly traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and a utility pole, causing the vehicle overturn.
Young was transported by Odessa E.M.S to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence for treatment of moderate injures.
The accident happened just after 7 p.m. on Missouri Highway 131 at Mulberry Road.
