A warrant has been issued, and a Sedalia man is facing a felony charge for allegedly assaulting another man outside a bar on April 18.
According to a probable-cause statement, authorities reviewed surveillance video and determined Roy L. Vickers to be the aggressor in an altercation outside of the “No Limits Bar,” that caused severe injuries to another man. The victim reportedly had to be flown by medivac helicopter to a trauma center in Columbia for treatment, which included surgery.
According to online court documents, Vickers has been charged with a Class A Felony for Assault in the First Degree, Causing Serious Physical Injury. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash or surety.
Vickers’ initial hearing at Pettis County Circuit Court is pending.
