A Richmond man has been charged with multiple felonies after authorities were dispatched to investigate the report of an assault involving a knife on June 10.
According to a probable-cause statement, 33-year-old Gregory Martin Lee is alleged to have caused serious injuries to a female by slamming her head against the floor and strangling her and resisting arrest; and to be in possession of several drug-related items.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and Lee has been charged with two counts of a Class D Felony for Domestic Assault in the Second Degree; a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana; a Class E Felony for Resisting Arrest for a Felony; and three misdemeanors.
An initial hearing for Lee at Ray County Circuit Court is pending.
