After a traffic stop on I-70 on June 18, authorities found a weapon that allegedly was stolen, and a resident of the state of California has been charged with a felony in Saline County.
According to a probable-cause statement, during a search of the vehicle, a 9mm Kel-Tec pistol was found and determined to belong to 20-year-old Eduardo Gracia, of San Bernadino, a passenger in the vehicle. The pistol was reported as stolen through the Kansas City Police Department on April 2, 2018.
Online court documents say Gracia has been charged with a Class D Felony for Receiving Stolen Property. Bond has been fixed at $7,500 cash or surety, with several conditions, including he is not to possess a firearm.
An initial hearing at Saline County Circuit Court is pending.
