Genevieve Jean (Abelhouzen) Brummet, age 86, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia, where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:30. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Ginny (Virginia) Abelhouzen, of Cole Camp; and a brother, Alan Abelhouzen, of Altadena, CA.

She was preceded in death by parents, Albert F. and Genevieve L. (Heisterberg) Abelhouzen; and her husband, Fred Brown Brummet.
