Alberta Jean Benedick, age 89, of rural Marshall, died Thursday, July 5, 2018.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall. Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Fitzgibbon-Mary Montgomery Hospice or Big Bend Retreat Recreation Fund in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.

Survivors include four sons: Paul Benedick and wife Sharon, Albert Benedick and wife Carol, Joe Benedick and wife Lori, all of rural Marshall, and Frank Benedick and wife Kali of Lexington; two daughters, Sarah Chase of Prairie Village, KS, and Lena McGrath and husband Ernie of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; two great-grandsons; one sister, Lois Crist of Chambersburg, PA; as well as nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents; Albert Charles Meierer Sr. and Ella Hackler Meierer, and husband; F.A. “Tony” Benedick, she was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
