The Slater City Council heard the report on a swim event that was recently held, as well as two upcoming events during its meeting on Tuesday, July 17.
Mayor Dr. Stephen Allegri thanked the workers for the successful Swim Night event which was held recently at the city pool.

Allegri also gives thanks to those working another swim event scheduled on Friday, July 20.

In other business, City Administrator Gene Griffith said weather permitting, the free-to-attend Antique Tractor Pull is scheduled to begin with team pulls at noon on Saturday, August 4.
