Myrna Maudell Luce Bowers, age 92, of Sedalia, died Friday, July 20, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 2, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Burial will follow at Smithton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Surviving are her three children, Judith D. Carson and her husband, Richard D. (Dale), of Lehigh Acres, FL, Philip E. Luce and his wife, Jean Wenn Luce, of Chattanooga, TN, and Paul A. Luce and his wife, Jan Charles-Luce, of Palm Springs, CA; four grandchildren, Myrna M. Dodd, Benjamin E. Carson, Christopher E. Luce, and Kevin A. Luce; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry J. Cook and his wife, Sue Cook, of Lee’s Summit, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husbands and parents, Frank David Cook and Blanche (Davis) Cook, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gera Valee Smith; and a brother, Clifford Norris Cook.
