A Kingsville resident was killed in a traffic crash in Johnson County on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as the driver of a westbound vehicle, 40-year-old Parvez Mahey, of Shawnee, KS, reportedly failed to yield to and struck an eastbound vehicle, driven by 84-year-old June Kueser.
Kueser reportedly was transported by helicopter to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, where she was pronounced deceased by a doctor at 7:29 p.m. Mahey reportedly refused treatment of minor injures at the scene.
The crash happened at 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Northwest 1601 Road.
