Two area residents have been charged felonies in relation to a reported robbery on July 24.
According to a probable-cause statement, authorities investigated the reported robbery from sheds at a residence on Gilbreath Road in Cooper County. Reportedly stolen were a 22-ton log splitter, a push mower, aluminum ramps, floor jacks and weed eaters– valued at a total of more than $1,500 by the residents.
Eric Pretson Miller was found to be in possession of some of the items in Moniteau County. Also implicated in the theft was Bambi Summer Turek, of Prairie Home. It was told to authorities the two traveled in her vehicle to the residence and loaded the items onto her truck. Authorities have recovered a majority of the property.
Online court documents say each subject has been charged with a Class D Felony for Receiving Stolen Property. Bond for each has been set at $7,500 cash or surety.
An initial hearing for each subject is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
