Douglas “Pinky” Widel, age 68, of Marshall, died Saturday, September 1, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, September 7, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, where visitation begins at 5 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City. Memorials are suggested to Freedom of the Road Riders Local 12.

In addition to his wife, Vickie; he is survived by one stepson, Jimmy Hoffman of Marshall; four stepdaughters: Gayla Spenney Jensen of Phoenix, AZ, Rachel Perkins of Camdenton, Misty Perkins of Marshall, and April Huff of Tipton; as well as several step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert J. Widel and Margaret L. Eliot Widel; first wife, Debra Kay Widel; and two sisters, Mary and Patricia.
