The Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved a mutual-aid agreement with the City of Odessa during its meeting on Monday, September 10.
City Administrator Jeanette Dobson said the agreement with Odessa is in regards to both cities helping each during certain emergency situations.
In other business, Dobson said the board approved the mayor’s recommendation to appoint Debra Berry as the city collector.
Also during the meeting, Dobson said the board approved a rezoning request for Compass Health, which changed the property from a multi-family residential district to a general commercial district.
