Bond has been set at a half-million dollars cash or surety for a Sedalia man who is facing two counts of a sex-related felony involving a juvenile.
A probable-cause statement says on September 6, 2018, a 24-year-old male alleged that 54-year-old Jon Mark Wilson sexually abused him when he was between the ages of 10 and 12. The abuse he says included oral and anal sex on multiple occasions.
According to online court documents, Wilson has been charged with two counts of an Unclassified Felony for Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree- Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Person Less Than 14 Years of Age.
A motion has been made to have Wilson’s bond reduced. A bond-reduction hearing is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
