A Sedalia man who is facing two counts of a sex-related felony involving a juvenile had his bond reduced during a recent hearing in Pettis County.
According to online court documents, 54-year-old Jon Mark Wilson has been charged with two counts of an Unclassified Felony for Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree- Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Person Less Than 14 Years of Age. Bond was originally set at $500,000.
Online court documents also say on October 3, the court agreed to reduce Wilson’s bond to $200,000 cash or surety after hearing arguments from both parties.
A probable-cause statement says on September 6, 2018, a 24-year-old male alleged that Wilson sexually abused him when he was between the ages of 10 and 12. The abuse he says included oral and anal sex on multiple occasions.
Wilson is scheduled to appear for a case-hearing at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
