Three Fayette residents were injured in a traffic crash in Howard County on Thursday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by 40-year-old Clare Franz-Jones, reportedly was stopped for a school bus and was struck in the rear by another southbound vehicle, driven by 72-year-old Harry Gerken.
Gerken, Franz-Jones and a passenger in her vehicle, 28-year-old Eileen Stacy, reportedly were transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of minor injures.
The crash happened at 7:15 a.m. on Missouri Highway 240, just north of Missouri 240 alternate.
