A Marshall woman has been charged with felonies relating to an investigation regarding the recent transportation of illegal drugs from Columbia to Saline County.
A probable-cause statement says Saline County deputies conducted a traffic stop and arrested 34-year-old Angel Dibble for the alleged transportation of 21 grams of crack cocaine and several controlled prescription medication pills on October 9. Deputies also discovered a child was in the vehicle during the transportation of the drugs.
On September 19, a warrant was granted to attach a tracking device on Dibble’s vehicle after a confidential informant bought illegal drugs from her multiple times. During the investigation, Dibble reportedly traveled to Columbia three times to meet up with an unknown male in a parking lot for a short period of time and returned directly to Marshall after the meeting. Dibble reportedly was returning from Columbia during her apprehension.
Online court documents say Dibble has been charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and a Class D Felony for Endangering the Welfare of a Child Involving Drugs. Bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.
Dibble appeared via video for her arraignment hearing on October 10 and told the court she would seek private counsel. Her cause was continued with a counsel-status hearing at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, at Saline County Circuit Court.
