Three children sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Saline County on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 27-year-old Candler Atcheson, of Dallas, Georgia, slowed for emergency vehicles and was struck in the rear by another eastbound vehicle, driven by 36-year-old Jontai Clayton, of Indianapolis.
While neither driver was injured, a 6-year-old and two 10-year-old children reportedly refused treatment at the scene.
The crash happened just before 8:30 p.m. at the 86.8 mile marker on I-70.
