Temperatures started out warm, but cooled off towards the end of October.
According to statistics provided by the National Weather Service, the average high temperature was 67.1 degrees at the KMMO studio in Marshall. The high of 90 was registered on October 4. The temperature never went above 80 degrees after October 10.
The average low temperature was 46 degrees, with the low of 31 degrees being recorded on October 16, 17 and 22.
As for precipitation, just below three-and-half inches of rain was recorded. The most rain– 1.2 inches– fell on October 7. In all, measurable rain was registered on five days.
