On October 15, the Marshall City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance regarding an annual contract the city has to pay for services provided by the Marshall-Saline Development Corporation.
During its meeting on Monday, November 5, the council was asked to approve the second reading of the proposed ordinance. City Administrator David Haugland explained the contract.

Haugland was asked by Ward 2 Councilman Kirk Arends if he knows when current MSDC Executive Director Stan Moore is planning on retiring.

The council approved the second reading, and thus the agreement to execute the contract.
