Richard G. Young, age 81, of Kansas City, died Saturday, December 8, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, at United Christian Presbyterian Church in Richmond, where visitation begins at 1 p.m. Burial, with full military honors provided by the United States Air Force and the Ray County Veterans, will follow at Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials to be made to United Christian Presbyterian Church in Richmond, and they can be mailed to or left at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
