The winners have been announced in an area city’s Christmas lighting contest.
According to a news release, Xi Beta Upsilon, chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, with the assistance of the mayor and the city council, announced the top finishers in the city of Sedalia’s 38th annual contest on Wednesday, December 12.
In the residential category, first place went to James and Tiffany Bryant’s home at 615 West Broadway. The residence of Chris Rickey at 911 East Broadway came in second, and Doug and Mary Holloman’s residence at 2803 Katy Trail Avenue, finished third. Darryl and Cindy Hansen’s home received honorable mention.
No entries were received in business category this year, but the city thanked those who decorated their businesses.
