Edwin H. Bargfrede, age 85, of Alma, died Saturday, December 15, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 18, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma. Burial, with military rites, will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, December 17, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Cemetery or family choice.

Survivors include one son, Larry Bargfrede (Terri), of rural Alma; two grandsons, Tyler Trent Bargfrede and Taylor Bryce Bargfrede (Chelsea); one sister, Edna Carter, of Sand Springs, OK; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In addition to his parents, Leonard Bargfrede and Agnes Strathman Bargfrede, and wife, Frances E. Rolf; Edwin was preceded in death by three brothers: Harlan, Ernest and Johann Bargfrede; and one sister, Leona Brandt.
