Ronald Maynard Hannon, 74 years old, of Chester, VA, and formerly of Slater, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 7, at Campbell Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Burial, with military rites, will follow at Sunset Gardens in Marshall.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Surviving Ron is his wife, Linda of the home; daughter Becky (Gavin), Chloe, Claudia, Cassandra and Ezekiel Boyd of Fredericksburg, Virginia; daughter Bethni (Richard), Ava, Abigail, and Audrey Lee of Rougemont, North Carolina; son Mark (Tonya) and Jeremiah of South Chesterfield, Virginia. Also surviving is Ron’s sister, Barbara Hannon Aulgur of Schaumberg, Illinois, her children and grandchildren; John, Sean, Darrion and Katina Aulgur. He has a number of cousins and extended family members in the Saline County area.
