A Higginsville man has been charge with a sex-related felony involving a juvenile for three alleged incidents which occurred last year in Lafayette County.
A probable-cause statement says Higginsville Police officers spoke with a 15-year-old female victim at the Lafayette County Juvenile Office on January 3. Reportedly, the victim stated she had a sexual encounter three separate times in October 2018 with a male in his mid-20’s, but would not disclose his name. Eventually, the victim said she only knew the male’s nickname which was “Rico”.
During the investigation, “Rico” was identified as 24-year-old Timothy Williams. Williams reportedly told authorities he did not have sexual contact with the victim due to being intoxicated at the time, but eventually admitted to the sexual encounters.
Online court documents say Williams has been charged with three counts of a Class C Felony for First-Degree Sexual Abuse. Bond has been set at $50,000 cash or surety.
Williams’ initial hearing is pending at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
