Three persons suffered injuries in a two-vehicle head-on traffic crash on a slush-covered roadway in Howard County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 18-year-old Gordon Starke, of Fayette, reportedly lost control of his eastbound vehicle, and it crossed the centerline of the roadway and struck a westbound vehicle, driven by 54-year-old Kimberly Test, of Mexico.
Starke and a passenger in Test’s vehicle- 61-year-old Edward Straatman, of Glasgow- each sustained moderate injuries; and Test minor injuries. They reportedly were transported by ambulances to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened at 2:50 p.m. on Route E, just east of County Road 207.
