Two Lexington residents suffered moderate injuries when their vehicle struck livestock in Lafayette County on Sunday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by 61-year-old Gary Williams, reportedly struck several cows that were standing in the middle of the roadway.
Williams and a passenger in his vehicle- 54-year-old Connie Williams- reportedly were transported by E.M.S. to Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington for treatment.
The accident happened at 10:30 p.m. on Business 13, one-half mile west of Missouri Highway 13.
