Leona C. (Markes) Fladung, age 81, of Stilwell, Kansas, and formerly of Shackelford and Marshall, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 25, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Marshall, where visitation begins at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall.

In lieu of flowers, Leona has requested that donations be made to Sanctuary of Hope at 2601 Ridge Ave, Kansas City, Kansas 66102; or online at sanctuaryofhoperetreat.org.

The Cremation Society of Kansas and Missouri in Prairie Village, Kansas, is in charge of the arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Trebor Fladung. She is survived by children: Robert Fladung and Debra (Kenny Kellison); grandchildren, Donielle Whiteman (Justin Buzzard), Cameron Whiteman, Shayla (Kale Hoffmann), Andrew Kellison; and great-granddaughter, Ellie Buzzard.
