David Daniel Thompson, age 58, of Marshall, died Sunday, January 20, 2019.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Marian Association in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Survivors include one daughter, Lauren Thompson of Lee’s Summit; 11 siblings: Paula South (John) of Blue Springs, Gregory Thompson (Donna) of Marshall, Raymond Thompson (Nancy) of Marshall, Timothy Thompson (Debbie) of Marshall, Marie Dominguez (David) of Reidsville, NC, Damien Thompson (Carol) of Marshall, Laura Vollmer of Boonville, Mary Arnold (Morgan) of Bunceton, Paul Thompson (Kimberly) of Marshall, Joe Thompson (Susie) of Marshall and Rita Thompson (Mook) of Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Gregory J. Thompson and Mary Ellen Barnes Thompson; he was preceded in death by a great-niece, Jude Perkins, a nephew, Chris South, and a brother-in-law, Robert Vollmer.
