William “Otto” Erickson, age 97, of rural Malta Bend, died Monday, January 28, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to family choice.

Survivors include five children: Sharon Kay Henderson of Marshall, William Lee “Bill” Erickson (Marlene) of Marshall, Brenda Corf (Richard) of Marshall, Daniel Paul “John” Erickson (Anita) of Marshall, and Melody Long of Pleasant Hill; a son-in-law, Howard Baker of Warsaw; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, William Frank Erickson and Mary Ellen Pippin Erickson; and wife, Alpha Mae Stark; he was preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Baker; one granddaughter; four sisters and one brother.
