STORY UPDATE AT 4:35 A.M. ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1.
Five of six persons arrested after the execution of a narcotics search warrant in Lafayette County on Saturday, January 26, have been charged with felonies.
According to a post on the Higginsville Police Department’s Facebook page, officers with the Higginsville P.D., Lafayette County Sheriff’s department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, executed the warrant in the 200 block of West 21st Street. Officers allegedly located approximately one gram of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana and numerous items of paraphernalia- including meth pipes and narcotic packaging materials.
According to online court documents, 43-year-old Donna L. Johnson; 19-year-old Jonathan Jungeblut; 25-year-old Bruce Winder Jr.; 24-year-old Christian Walding; and 17-year-old Kiya Wolford each has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Johnson also has been charged with a Class E Felony for Keeping or Maintaining a Nuisance and a drug-related misdemeanor. Johnson’s bond has been set at $25,000; Winder at $15,000; and Walding and Wolford at $10,000 cash or surety. Jungeblut posted $10,000 surety bond on Tuesday, January 29.
Johnson, Winder, Wolford and Walding entered pleas of not guilty during arraignment hearings earlier this week. Winder’s next hearing is scheduled for February 6; and Johnson, Wolford and Walding for February 13. Jungeblut’s initial arraignment hearing is scheduled for February 13.
