Dora Alice Shannon, age 91, of rural Marshall, died Saturday, February 2, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 8, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, where visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Smith Chapel Cemetery, south of Marshall.

Memorials may be made to Smith Chapel United Methodist Church or Smith Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include three children: Sheila Cook, of Marshall, Randy Shannon and wife, Vicki, of rural Marshall, and Sherry Werneke and husband, Bill, of rural Nelson; six grandchildren: Stephanie Green and husband, Eric; Brian Cook and wife, Lydia; Jon Shannon and wife, Kelly; Bethany Spilhaus and husband, Ryan; Jeremy Werneke and wife, Rochelle; and Adrianna Werneke; six great-grandchildren and one on the way: Abby and Carter Green, Micaela and Preston Cook, Laura and John David Shannon and baby boy Spilhaus; one brother, Larry Arni and wife, Barbara, of Caldwell, ID; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Rufus E. Arni Sr. and Flora Mae Barnes Arni, and husband, Carter Shannon; Dora Alice was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Mark Cook; and five brothers, Rufus, Bill, Marion, Matthew and Martin Arni.
