A Richmond man was killed in a two-vehicle, head-on traffic crash in Ray County on Tuesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by 59-year-old Davy Creason, of Richmond, reportedly was traveling in the middle of the roadway at a hill crest and struck a northbound vehicle, driven by 49-year-old Bryan Connor, of Richmond.
Creason, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Ray County Coroner; and Connor reportedly was transported to Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington for treatment of moderate injuries.
The crash happened at 2:10 p.m. on Gardner Road, one-tenth of a mile north of West 120th Street.
