During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, February 15, Marshall-Saline Development Corporation Director Stan Moore gave an update on what’s been happening involving the Develop Saline County Board.
Moore said the city of Nelson has submitted a project, which is scheduled to be discussed at the April board meeting.
Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner said the city of Grand Pass could be submitting a project. He said it’s going to be putting gravel in some of their alleys “because a lot of the folks from that bluff have to come through an alley to get to their property. It’s small, but it improves their community.”
Moore says if there are other small, rural communities with a project, just let him or Sandy Allison know, and they will be working with them between now and April to get applications in order so they can be discussed at the next Develop Saline County Board meeting.
