KCP&L-Greater Missouri Operations Company (GMO) will be adjusting the fuel adjustment charge (FAC) on the monthly bills of its electric customers effective March 1.
According to a news release, residential customers who use 1,000 kWh (kilowatt-hours) of electricity a month will see an increase of $2.52 on their monthly bill. The FAC was increased to reflect the company’s fuel and purchased power costs during a six month period of June to November 2018.
KCP&L-GMO provides electric service to approximately 323,500 customers including area residents living in Carroll, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis and Ray counties.
