A Nelson man who is facing felony charges relating to two other incidents in the area, has been charged with multiple felonies for an alleged incident involving a weapon on February 14.
According to a probable-cause statement, a man- who was visiting with a relative of Gary Allen Johnson at a residence in the 12300 block of Raines Road- alleges Johnson fired what sounded like a gun in another room while he was in the kitchen. The man says Johnson emerged from the other room waving the pistol around and pointed it at him several times. The man also says Johnson fired a shot from the pistol over the man’s shoulder. He said the bullet went through a window directly behind him.
Online court documents say a warrant has been issued and Johnson has been charged with a Class B Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon- Shooting at a Person; a Class D Felony for Assault in the Second Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Bond has been set at $75,000 cash or surety.
Johnson’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
